PEEP enters Feestgedruis
The rascals from Peep and the pirates from Feestgedruis joined forces for the first time past year and it proved to be an explosive mix. The Vooruit was lit on fire with great sets from Markus Fix and Chris Tietjen, taking the party people on a journey of pure and lightly disturbed beats, tight and clearly twisted.
So… Aaaargh! Let’s do this again and create a night full of blazing cannons and clashing swords. This time we are truly going to transform the ‘Vooruit’ into something you’ve never seen before. The music will be more eclectic than ever, from minimal rolling beats to smooth deep house over pumping tech house to hypnotic melodies. With such amazing dj’s at the wheels of steel, we will sail away on another adventurous night. Expect fireworks, dressed up people, massive sound, rum for the pirates and a smile on everybody's face! Get ready to get down to ultra positive and exceptional electronic pleasures @ PeeP enters Feestgedruis!
This time the masters of ceremony are none other than the Germans André Galuzzi from Cocoon and Robag Wruhme from Freude Am Tanzen.
André Galuzzi hails from Frankfurt, Germany, and took his first dj steps in the Rhine-Main-area. He played at „M“ in Mainz, had his first residency in Wiesbaden’s “Parkcafé” and worked at distributor Neuton, where he met his companion Paul Brtschitsch, cofounder of their label TAKSI. He then became resident at Berlin’s Tresor club and moved to the capital. His international agenda got busy and he became famous for his marathon DJ sets. Tracks like “Schneesturm” (TAKSI) or “Maskenball” (Cocoon Recordings) put him on the map as a producer. André is resident at both Berlin’s Berghain and Panorama Bar, where he plays at least once a month.
Robag Whrume is best known as half of the duo formerly known as Wighnomy Brothers in which he teamed up with Monkey Mafia for many years. Together they started Freude Am Tanzen, one of the leading minimal house labels around. Later they also launched a sub-label called Musik Krause, both of which are distributed by the Cologne based Kompakt stable. You can now find solo productions of him on all above mentioned labels as well as Pampa, Less is More, Movida, Contexterrior and Vakant.
Spacid has been rocking the electronic dance-floors since the very beginning with illegal parties and the Funky Green Aliens crew and can now be heard on all major parties and festivals, playing a wide range of upfront music. Here he will dig into his more housey tunes, with a twist.
José Noventa was born in the world of music, having gigs at Cityparade, Decadance, Ketaloco Events, the wicked Make Up afterhours & off course the legendary pirate parties of ‘Feestgedruis’! As a warm-up or in the early hours, he always finds the sound the people want. Make sure you come and check out this young & motivated artist.
Whether Koodoo serves you a party or just a dj-set, his aim is to provide you with refreshing dance tunes, perfectly suitable for boobie-buffets, nightly cartrips through desolate Communist landscapes or pirate gatherings on rum-fuelled spaceships. He ran concepts like ‘Audio Culture’ and ‘Karma Candy’ till 2006 and more recently, ‘Putzen’ (at Decadance, Ghent) and ‘NU-festival’ (in the fields of Heers). He regularly plays clubs like Decadance or parties like ‘Feestgedruis’.
After playing numerous parties in Limburg where he’s from, the career of Michael Toelen recently took a new turn as the pirates of Feestgedruis contacted him to join Sweet Trade, the home base of their eminent deejay squad. Since then you can find him behind the decks of party concepts such as Feestgedruis, Les Brigands and FriFri. Always pursuing his love for minimal and tech house, Michael’s style can be described as strong and solid, aimed to kill and destroy dance-floors, like an automatic riffle with beats as bullets, barely missing their target…
Feestgedruis can look back on an amazing year with fantastic journeys in the Wood and Magic Mirrors in Brussels, outstanding collaborations with Ketaloco on the outdoor Thé Dansant parties and an overwhelming Nu Festival in the sunshine to top the summer off. The parties are characterized by great decorations inspired by pirates, a very outgoing atmosphere created by a very loyal crowd who love the music and love to party. Actually the party culture is their lifestyle!
PeeP saw the light of day just before last summer and is the newest concept of the Kozzmozz crew who wanted to create a concept for the more housey, minimal music that’s ruling dance-floors worldwide at the moment. The first edition was everything they could have hoped for with a very unique feeling that left people yearning for more. And more is what we are giving them!
